Aim of the working group

The working group ‘Global Soil Carbon Modeling’ aims to bring together international experts working on soil carbon modeling to examine the soil carbon potential of global soils. Soils are increasingly being put forward as a ‘natural climate solution’ but given current management practices, how much carbon storage potential is there in our soils? The call for working group members is now closed and we hope to have results published soon.
