One day workshop: truly predicting plant water uptake

Dear All,
 
You are invited to participate in the "Truly Predicting Plant Water Uptake" one day workshop.  The workshop will be held at the University of Southampton on the 19th of June 2015. This one day event will cover advances in-situ imaging and modelling of plant water uptake with specific focus on:
 
Imaging techniques
Multi-scale modelling
Image based modelling
 
This event, including the conference dinner, is free for all participants. In addition we are able to support early career researchers through travel and accommodation bursaries (please see website for details). We have two confirmed plenary speakers:
 
Professor Peter Gregory, Director of East Malling Research Station and the University of Reading
Professor Andrea Schnepf, Jülich Forschungszentrum, Germany
 
This event is limited to a maximum of 80 people and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. The deadline for applications is Friday the 27th of February 2015. Further details on this event and the signup form can be found at www.soton.ac.uk/~krd103/trulyhome.html
