Support for establishing an IUSS WG

Dear colleagues,

we are seeking your support for a proposal that we would like to submit to the executive committee of IUSS, the International Union of Soil Science, in order to establish a working group on international soil modelling. Attached you find the proposal applying for such a working group. This is part of our effort to establish the international soil modelling consortium.  In addition to this proposal we also need a written support and agreement of soil scientist across all continents for this proposal. We kindly ask you to support this initiative. It is sufficient to write an email to me (h.vereecken@fz-juelich.de) stating that you are supporting this proposal and by giving your full affiliation including institution and email. In case you want to support this initiative, please provide us asap with this information.
