Yes.  And happy to lead a section on what measurements are needed to understand and model soil structure dynamics providing a couple of other people with a better understanding of hydrological processes are willing to help me out.

I am prepared to contribute to various sections, for instance with respect to:

- modeling plant-soil interactions in dry, wet or saline conditions

- transport in macroporous clay and peat soils

- vadose zone interaction with local surface water management

As lead author: yes if this would be on my core expertise (pedogenetic modelling), otherwise no.

As contributor: yes, of course.

Proving input to a section

I am willing to support the planned white paper as input to a section. Lead author: I do not know yet

I would like to contribute to topics such as 3D structure modeling, preferential flow modeling

Obviously I'd like to contribute. Yes - for information input, dependently on the paper's scope.  No - for section leading - there are more experienced colleagues already involved. Are any issues regarding estimation of soil hydraulic parameters, by the means of direct physical modelling or PTFs, considered?
