AGU CZO workshop and Webinar
As you may be aware, there is an early career AGU workshop occurring on December, 8th 2019 in San Francisco on 'Toward an International Critical Zone Network-of-Networks for the Next Generation through Shared Science, Tools, Data and Philosophy'.
To help shape this workshop, several webinar-based discussions will be held prior to the actual workshop. The first webinar will be held on September 27th, 8-9 am Pacific. The webinar and workshop will focus on how to facilitate cross-site and cross-network knowledge by synthesizing the scientific drivers, properties and processes studied, and instrumentation and modelling approaches used at different international CZ networks.
The first webinar will provide an overview of the network of CZOs and their watershed equivalents. Confirmed speakers include Susan Hubbard (DOE Watersheds), Jerome Gaillardet (French OZCAR), Tim White (US CZO), Harry Vereecken (German TERENO) and Philip Marsh (Canadian Network).
If you’re interested in learning about these international networks, we encourage you to attend and help build a new scientific vision together. To register for this webinar, please follow up on the website.
The website contains additional details, and also includes the link to register for the webinar.
We hope you’ll join us, and please forward this webinar announcement to all that may be interested.
Sincerely,
Bhavna Arora, James Stegen, Jannis Groh, Andrew Ireson, Genevieve Ali, Pamela L. Sullivan, Adam Wymore, Basile Hector, and Caroline Le Bouteiller
