CSDMS STUDENT MODELER COMPETITION AND AWARD
The deadline for the 2017 CSDMS Student Modeler Competition is fast approaching. Applications will be accepted through next Monday, January 9th, 2017.
CSDMS invites graduate students from earth and computer sciences to compete for the annual “CSDMS Student Modeler Award.” If you have completed an outstanding research project in 2016, which involved developing an earth
science model, a modeling tool, or module linking technology, you can qualify for this award! Models can be on all earth surface topics that our community embraces; terrestrial, coastal, marine, hydrological, ecological, geodynamics,
or involving landscapes and human dimensions.
Please submit a one-page abstract highlighting your results, a digital copy of your thesis or research paper, your code or a link to a repository of your code, and contact information for your supervisor to the CSDMS Facility:
csdms@colorado.edu. Recipient of this year's award will be announced by early February 2017.
